Atlas 3d problem when defining metal as conductors silvaco atlas

I am defining a metal as a conductor in a 2d dimesion problem in atlas. I do this by defining in the region statement: region num=2 material=Cobalt conductor x.min...but when I try to do the same in a 3d problem the following message apperars: Process interrupted by signal SEGV. Anyone who knows about the problem???
