Hi, I bought this AT89C5131 Board Kit, tried to program with USB ISP and succeed, but when trying to program with UART [RS232] using MAX232, and selecting RS232 in FLIP program, it won't let me program and show the message "Timeout error", what could be wrong? is it have to do with Bootloader or something?

Anyone?

the bootloader is specifically USB based. You could load the RS232 based bootloader found on the Atmel site, but why?

thanks for replay, just wounderd if I could do RS232 & USB Flashing together,
I think it always good to have other ways to flash your program, RS232 is much easier because the PC don't need any drivers, but USB must have, and requires New hardware detection. on the other hand RS232 sadly will soon disapper completly.
