Does anyone have any clue?

Buy a better machine P4 2.8G for example

I don't think it's the hardware problem. What kind of Linux are you running?

on linux forum, you can solve your problem.

yes, use RH7.3 or 8. OS problem

This problem is often caused by improper linux configuration, or the improper version of library.

It seem to me that is Software problem, incompatible OS, misconfiguration. It's not problem with AMD Athalon

I finaly figured it out!
It is hardware related. On P4 and ATHLON XP it runs fine. The binaries are compiled for new processors. Cadence woldn't admit it but our experiments and browsing through error logs confirn it.

That's life!
