I have a 10HP induction motor to drive. I need speed info. (Max. 1800rpm) feedback. Could someone give some specific company names, or even model # about quadrature encoder??
Thx a lot!!

Try US Digital

US Digital has a complete line of optical encoders to mount a pretty much any application.

Thx. I checked it... I'm confused on some names:
What does the parameter "bore diameter" mean?? It seems not the diameter of shaft... Also, does every motor have fixed mounting bolt holes?

Good luck

Thx and I did email them the layout of my motor... But what I have is a 1.375" diameter shaft, so there is no such big shaft mounted encoder available in US Digital...
Do you have any other suggestions??
