sram structures

hi!

you guys know of any non-common sram structure? i always see a 6T or a 4T with resistors. does even a 5T or 7T exist? i am trying to find out intel's sram structures (good luck!). i am interested at how they make their latest 45nm srams. thanks!

Re: sram structures

helo, because of SRAM design ( 2 INVs plus two nmos for read write ), it seems to me that 5T or 7T is not that possible...

However, i think u should know that there is 1 T SRAM (MOS + CAP).

So, i think if the number is clsoe to six, the number of mos shoul be even. if u want try 1T or 2 T or etc, u may refer to some RAM desgin house or some big copany like Suamsung...etc..

i still very very very young in this wonderful electronic industry, if anythings worng, expert plz corrent me ~~
