Dear all,
i came across a problem about arc routing.
45 degree or arc routing better?
in which signal line we should use arc?
or actually no difference at all?
thanks for your advice.

Hi wcz !

I usualy use arc routing for flexible PCBs with teardrop-shaped pads.

Some people think that high speed signal route is much better using arc routing...just think of a highway, if you build a highway using 45 degree route, I'm sure there will be a lot of accident.

Other people think that arc or 45 deg is just a matter of aesthetic.

I think arc rpouting is always better as it provides uniform trach width but it also takes lot of space so generally in high speed board 45 degree routing is done as there is a limit on the space available for routing .
For Analog signals arc routing should be done as much as possible.

Regards,
Ricky
