Hi all,
I am doing a project in which i have to transmit power to the device inside the body, energize and make it work. i am new to RFID technology.. i selected 27MHz frequency. I would like to know whether this freq. can be used?? Is anybody used this freq. for any application?? i need some help on this.

Thank you

Medical devices are usually powered at lower frequencies. This is partly due to the lower frequencies causing less heating of the tissue for a given RF power level.

The common method in the past was near 100 kHz and used inductive coupling. There was a coil just under the skin and the external coil had half of a pot core around it to concentrate the magnetic field.
