open pcad5 files

hi friends,

maybe the attached pcb file is a old dos pcad file.

I try to open it by pcad2004 and camcad, but no success.

anybody can solve it and tell me the way.

many many thanks!

this file starts like this:
"Personal CAD Systems, Inc.

PC-CARDS Database file version : 1.04

maybe pcad5.1 or accel2000 can open it.

pls help me to open it if you have these soft.

What file format did you want to translate it into? It can be converted from a binary PCAD file into a PDIF format. Newer versions of PCAD can then import the PDIF file. I can translate it into one of several formats - just let me know what you need.

If you want to try it for yourself, convert the binary file to PDIF with the attached file. Run the converter from the DOS prompt as - "outpdif.exe dvr.pcb". Once you have the PDIF file, you can use File Import in PCAD2004 to open it.
