i want to make a small wideband antenna ,f:30~400MHZ
any fiends give me some advise

Is this for transmitting or receiving? Receiving is much easier. All you need is a length of wire and a JFET source follower.

do you want design microstrip antenna?

microstrip at 30MHz?

@goodsunday ... define what is small for you

To goodsunday,

I'm sure it's not the only solution, but unfortunately if you want a 30 - 400MHz 'small' wideband antenna, it has to be of wire structures (or its variants). You might like to try reading the recently published Doug Miron's 'Small Antenna Design' book. It'll give you a better insight to the challenges into designing VHF small antennas! ;)

Hope this helps,
Dave
