Hi Friends,

Can anybody help me to calculate the radiated power and radiation intensity of UWB Monopole antenna or LPDA antenna or any other antenna, I read Balanis but the formulas are bit confusing so........

And also when we are simulating an antenna in Advacned Design System what is the transmitted power of an antenna it will take?
 

Hello!
Radiated power is income power minus efficient. Typically efficient coefficient could be from 0.3 up to 0.9 for PCB antennas.
