I am doing some analog circuit design mainly using
NPN + PNP + capacitors + resistors
Any simulation software can do accurate simulation to show transient response in the market

hspice or cadence
in fact i think the model determinate the accuracy

you can use Protues, Pspice,Orcad,.....

EDSpice of EDWinXP performs well on Simulation

Man, you can use just about everything to simulate your circuit.

1) HSpice
2) Orcad
3) ADS
4) Cadence

PSpice is good for PNP, NPN, resistors and caps.

More recently, with Proteus, you can simulate/ emulate Microcontroller code with its circuit diagram!

I just wanted to clarify that PSpice is an OrCAD product.
OrCAD is taken over by Cadence.

So you will find PSpice bundled with OrCAD Capture and Cadence HDL Designer.

I think if you are in IC design, hspice or spectre is desireable, if you are in system level design, pspice is perferable!

you can use hspice , spectre. if u want more accurate simulation including transient noise eldo can be the best choice.

For board level simulation, Pspice is good. For IC-level simulation, Hspice is the defacto standard.

HSPICE ELDO or hsim + high resolution

I think anything will do it. It should not be that tough

HSPICE or spectre simulator will give good accurate results
