application on wireless communication

I want to transmit a simple pulse train via PIC but wirelessly. What alternatives do I have I have not seen anybody do such thing. Please help me how to do it. Let say I would like to turn on/off a lamp connected to a receiver via the pulse train I generate in PIC.

thanks. How should I do it. I have this as project at school comming soon

rfpic series

if you want to use a pic take a look at the rfpic series:

pic wireless simple

Are there any reference designs available for implementing a transceiver using rfPIC technology?

That is what I am looking for. Has anyone worked with these? Any web projects I can refer to?
Thousands of thanks revolt!

Do these PIC's have Flash, so re-programmable?

hi djalli,

i am uploading somthing of your interest.
good luck :)

Hi,

I have a project for remote control @ https://jap.hu/electronic/codec.html

hi jap

nice design i have some idea for other user about cheaper Rf receiver and transmiter
what i did i bought always rf mouse which i can get only in U$3.5 with
tx and rx the tx is based on saw resonator and reciver is superehytodyine
crstal controlled provide very accurate comunication with out data lose
up to 100 feet if you want to increase lenght or cover area very simple
i always make a rf amp at the out put of transmitor

Hi,

What is the rfPIC cost?
Is it cheap?

Thanx

@Fragrance

Interesting concept. Dirt cheap compared to buying the rf modules.

I noticed that the wireless mouse also has 2 frequency settings. I wonder what the crosstalk would be if two mice were used for two way communication????

Also what would be the maximum baud rate ???

Did a search for schematics on wireless mice but couldn't find anything yet.

Enigma460

RF Pic cost 1.45-2$ only

Enigma460

i only used rf tx and reciever section of the mouse if you bought the rf mouse disassemble it and you will find the data chips sereach for there
data they are come with programable baud rate secltion through dip switches i have noticed 9600 hundred baud

HI , freind
May you help me to build a 4 channel radio controller transmitter receiver?[/img]

Hi,

I have a project for remote control @ h**p://jap.hu/electronic/codec.html

Very nice like!!!!!

As for beginner i prefer u to use PIC as its easy with different version of compiler. But to be perfect with all 8-bit controller use 8051. U will be master in all RISC controller if u r fimilar with CISC controllers.

rfpic12f675 is too small for big applications.
6 I/O are few, if you want more pins you must multiplex them.

You can also use off-the-shelf zigbee comm stacks for effecient communication.
