Advise me on biasing to signal

If i want to supply a AC signal(sine wave), but I would want to provide a bias signal to raise the sine wave. Can I just simply use the circuit below

yes u can do that

of course. yes. another way is to use dc source in series with the ac source. (with some resisitance in b/w if reqd)
