Advices for designing PCBs with BGA devices

BGA PCB design

Are there any special rules for design of PCB containing BGA devices? Any links or advices? I would appreciate if you can share some experience...

u can find the BGA design guild at TI or xilinx web site. such as xapp157 at www.xilinx.com

hi
it' s easier to use BGA 1mm to put this chip in your PCB.
and it' s easier to put several vias for the power and ground.

If you visit the motorola website and serach for articles on 'dragonball' you will find a lot of notes on assembly using that BGA package as well as profile, pad size rationales etc.
