Adding IOT features to Robot

I have built a small autonomous robot controlled by arduino and I have mounted an XBee module on it for wireless communication.

What can I do to integrate the robot as a 'Thing' in the Internet of Things?

P.s: I'm not looking for anything specific, just ideas and ways to implement them...
