adding buffer to microcontroller

buffer in microcontroller

hai all
i am connecting some 8 microcontroller units (slaves) to a master system.i am countinously sending different datas to the master.to prevent data loss i think i must interface a buffer in all slaves.the master and slaves are in serial communication mode.the slaves takes atleast three different datas and send it as one to the master.

Opino que : La necesidad de un buffer depende de la velocidad de transferencia.
Si esta DEBE ser mayor que la capacidad del MASTER de procesar los datos,
dicho buffer de nada sirve pues tarde o temprano perderá datos .
El buffer si puede servir cuando hay un intento simultaneo de TRx por parte de los
SLAVES ,pero esto puede resolverse tambien con una linea auxiliar de ENABLEs
en serie.Es decir que el MASTER da un ENABLE a SLAVE1 y SLAVE1 habilita a SLAVE2 y asi susesivamente hasta que SLAVE8 da el OK al MASTER.
