Accessing pointers in Cadence EDI

Hi,
I am new to Cadence EDI tool. Wanted help in accessing the hex pointers that the EDI tool displays.

Ex]
"Set pins [get_pins -of x/x/y_mem]" returns a hex pointer "0x3ebc"

Here how do i get the string or value stored in the hex pointer?

I thought many used Cadence EDI for PnR purposes and i don't see any replies yet !
