"hello world"

i want to interface a MMA7260Q accelerometer (i use only 2 of the 3 axes) with an ADC0808 as A/D converter with an P89V51RD2 micro controller
the micro controller should read the tilt from accelerometer and rotate diplay by 90 degrees 180 degrees 270 degrees (Like in iphone or HTC) using 128x128 Nokia LCD screen with an inbuilt Philips PCF8833 display Controller. i am planning to use SPI interface
here's a link on the lcd which i'm using
sparkfun.com/products/569

is 8051 too slow for this project ?
if i increase the clock frequency to 32MHz will it work faster?
how long will it take for 8051 to fill the screen with pixels?
i dont know about PIC microcontroller and ARM so any solution referring to 8051 is welcome.:?:?:?:?:?:?:?:?:?:?:?
