Hi,

I have an AC signal that needs to have a precise DC offset (1v-10v AC signal + 0.5v DC offset)
I am limited to single supply.

What is the best way I could achieve this?

any help is appreciated.

thanks!

Hi!

Try using a summing amplifier or a non inverting amplifier with DC offset (both designed for unity gain).

The precision depends largely on the 0.5V offset signal, riding it of noise will give you good results.

Cheers!

What's the best way depends on your requirement details. The most simple way is a bias-T (a capacitor + a resistor) and a 0.5 V DC source.
