About testbench content

Hi,
I have a doubt that, whether we should add the calculations of how to get output in the testbench also???

When added that calculations again in the testbench i am getting the output... but wen i removing that calculations am not getting the output.. am getting the initialized value only, which i gave in the testbench..

You really need to ask a clear question. Maybe with code examples.

In any testbench you would usually have some form of model. Either a model that generates the expected values with the testbench, or a set of expected values given a set of given input vectors.
