Hi,

i was wondering if a worst case phase margin of 40 degrees can be enough for a CMFB in a fully differential amplifier. Due to topology, it is not easy to increase it furtherly. Transient response shows only very limited ringing in response to step on the CM reference.

Then, how could it be than the phase margin of a common mode feedback has a minimum for a specific load capacitance, then increases for larger? this is not intuitive

i think the best phase margin spec. is 63 degree. see the attached

how much amplitude of CM voltage step you injected?
what do you mean PM of your CMFB with CL?
