Dear All,
I want to know about gerber file of pcb.I can design schematic & pcb in express-pcb software. can gerber be easily generate by software?what we have to do for gerber?

ExpressPCB might sell you Gerber-files. I never purchased them, but was quoted 60USD about two years ago.

Express pcb does not generate gerber file.then I can use other software.but I want to know which software is used for gerber.

There are quite a few, like eagle, kid cad, spark design (by rs components it's based on eagle and also free), Altium but it all depends on how good your skill level is and willing to learn which one you choose there is plenty of tut's out there

I've never used orcade but I would say yes it will like many others

What makes you think there is any relationship between DesignSparkPCB (from RS) and Eagle?

Eagle has pre-defined size limitations, DesignSparkPCB only works in Windows or under Wine.

The capability for exporting Gerber files from Express PCB was intentionally omitted because the company sells PCBs and not software. Suppose they would offer free Gerber exports, how many designers would have their PCBs manufactured by them? And how many would happily send it to China at a fraction of the cost?
