Does anyone know about "Galileo Satellite System"?
I want ask a question.
For Galileo system , how many bandwidth does a user segment antenna need?
Let the segment can receive Galileo satellite signals.
Just like for GPS, we usually design a antenna, which has 2MHz bandwdiths to receive GPS signals.
So I want know how worst bandwidth for a Galileo antenna need ?
Thanks ~~I hope someone can help me.~~

Hi.

Depend on the signal used by Galileo, BOC(1,1), that seems like Manchester code, requires 4MHz for the principal lobe.

Galileo use two bands: 1164–1214 MHz (50MHz bandwidth) and 1563–1591 MHz (28MHz bandwidth).

Why is the Galileo system development dead? Too costly for EU? Are there chances at all for it to be operational someday?
