A dummy question about op-amps

Hello all!

I just wanted to ask a very simple question. I know very basics about op-amps - input impedance high, output impedance low, output can never exceed saturation limits etc.
Question - can op-amp output both sink and source current? I know when a pin of a microcontroller port is an output pin it can sink and source current. Is it the same in the case of an op-amp?
Sorry for the question! I hope you understand me.

Yes, an Opamp pin can act as both Source and sink. Here is tutorial from MAXIM

Hope this is helpful

Yes however the actual output voltage may vary. Some go from V- to V+ -1.5V, and some V- to V+ so look at the data sheets closely.
