A digital Osciloscope - desgin

Hello experts,
I want to make a low frequency controller based CRO with LCD .
where i can start for it ?
Have you anybody very good links for the reference ?

Do you have any experience ,what is the advice ?

1. As per my knowledge u require fast sampling ADC may be resolution 8/10 bit but speed important It may external / internal
2. U require fast response lcd which update ur waveform
3. Good Quality Signal Conditioning circuit to convert external signal
4. Digital Pot for setting amplitude/time etc..
