A 5.1 home theater system making

I want to make a 5.1 sound system .
I dont know which ICs are available for it .(because i was not in sound field ).
is there any single IC for it (amplifier including sub woofer ).
is there any good processor for the functioning of the sound system (volumes ,ON/OFF etc controllers ).
