Hey
I am designing a circuit in Eagle.
I have bought a 804 resistor set but there is only 805 case in Eagle...
How is this possible? Is 804 case unused in most cases?
Will 804 smd resistor fit on 805 case pcb?
Thanks i nadvance
Re: 804 smd instead of 805 resistor? Eagle PCB design
Is it 0804? Because it is an 0805 series of resistor. It's possible that you can just use the 0805 footprint in your PCB - you can even place an 0603 resistor on an 0805 footprint, if you have to.

Read the data sheet, that footprint is not even close... To be honest you need to sit down and look more closely at what you are ordering... **broken link removed**
