Can anyone help me with the FFT 8 point VHDL coding?

I have already started working on the code. and came across few problematic areas. so it would be great if i could get some help

In this case, you should post the code you have written so far and describe the problems you experienced.

Short code parts can be best appended to your posts, enclosed in code or syntax tags for better readability. Large vhd files can be zipped and attached to the post (or renamed to *.txt and attached directly).

The problem i have is dealing with the complex numbers. And my knowledge is nil when it comes to complex numbers. How to declare complex numbers when I'm using 16 bit binary to represent each number.
Thank you
