Hi All.

One of my friend has been questioned with the claim that it has an answer, but most of the time answered incorrectly, Question is

"6 and half digit display can show maximum reading up to"???

I was confused about half digit, which was cleared by Wikipedia:

"By convention, a half digit can display either a zero or a one"

And

"A 5½ digit multimeter would have five full digits that display values from 0 to 9 and one half digit that could only display 0 or 1.[3] Such a meter could show positive or negative values from 0 to 199,999"

Link: Multimeter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ans first i deduced : 9999991 but then due to example of 5 and half digit ans deduced : 1999999 .

Kindly give your kind and quick opinion on this small question.

best regards.

Yes, your deduction is correct: 6½ digits would display up to 1999999.
