5V Step-Up Voltage Regulator

I think that Pins #1,3-left unconnected and #2-Positive Terminal of the LiPoly battery and #4-Negative Terminal of the battery.#5-The voltage output that is stepped up.
 

how do I connect this 5V Step-Up Voltage Regulator with a LiPoly Battery of 3.7V on a breadboard?
That's explained in the link you gave. There's even pictures.

What on earth are you talking about? The module only has 3 pins.
 
thanks for the quick reply, just realized how simple my question was!
 

The header pins that are recommended look to be too big. They will probably damage the contacts on a breadboard. Use 20 or 22 guage solid tinned copper wire instead.
