4-bit lcd programming


hello ,i faced some problem in programming the 4-bit lcd programming,i am refferring MAZIDDI & MAZZIDI for my work,but it is not mentioned how to programe the 4 -bit lcd...can any help me in this.If any one have any material on 4-bit lcd or some program with explanation,,plz give me.:|:?:

Have you Googled it? There are plenty of resources on the web. It would also help if you can include what your hardware is, as well as what language/compiler you are trying to use. 4bit programming is very similar to the 8bit routines except the nibbles are sent separately .
