Hi,
Considering 3 phase electric car chargers, ie , those that use a wall box external to the EV to connect the 3 phase mains to the EV....
Do the chargers use a 6 pulse rectifier front end, or do they have each of the 3 phases and neutral going to a separate PFC'd EV charger? (ie, 3 PFC'd chargers)?

Both, ( and more/ others too ) 6 diode rectifier is by far the most common at the moment, followed by 6 switch active bridge for PFC, followed by others ....

Thanks, and as you know, 6 diode rectifier with a small output cap is about 0.9 power factor?
