The contactor coils are rated for 208V. In order for the contactor to work, should I connect one end of the contactor coil to neutral and other end to one of the lines ?? Or, should I connect the 3 lines in parallel (as each line has only 120V) and connect the output to one end of the coil and the other to neutral ?? the contactor works properly only when it gets 208 across its terminals Last edited: Jun 17, 2014

So connect one end of the coil to a live and switch another live to the other end of the coil to operate itl. Frank
