1V Bandgap 0.18um CMOS Process

Hi! I need help in starting a bandgap with an input of 1.4-1.8V that will produce a 1V reference voltage. This is in a 0.18um technology. I cannot understand the computation that are being given in the papers that I have read. What circuit would be appropriate for this project? Thank you in advance to those who will help. Also, I need all the lengths in 0.5u which gives me hard time

Hi,
Do you read Razavi's book "Design of analog CMOS circuits" ? There is a good explanation of bandgap principles.
 

The regular start up ciruit will do. I think 1.4v should very well be sufficient for the BG to start

I've read Razavi's book but there isn't a bandgap circuit that gives an explanation of how to get the widths and the lengths

E.g. Rincón-Mora's book on "Voltage References"
... contains a calculation example: pp 38..40
 

In order to produce an output voltage exactly equal to 1 V, you need some Bandgap like: A CMOS bandgap reference circuit with sub-1-V operation. IEEE Journal of Solid-State circuits. Banba, H. Toshiba Corp., Yokohama, Japan
