i got a 115v ac fan that i currently plug directly in to a outlet, but it kinda...loud. so i wanna make a speed controller or buy a speed controller for it but i don't know where to start. here's the specs

CFM @ 0.000-In. SP 239.0
Voltage 115 AC
Hz 60/50
Phase 1
Amps 0.23
Watts 27.0
Fan RPM 3200
dBA 55.0
Height (In.) 6-3/4
Width (In.) 5-7/8
Depth (In.) 2
Mounting Holes O.C. (In.) 6-3/8
Mounting Position Vertical or Horizontal
Motor Type Permanent Split Capacitor
Motor Insulation Class A

Electrical Connections Terminals

As your specs say, its a 27 watt fan, you may use a regular Electronic Fan regulator to decrease its speed. Connect the regulator in series to the fan to the power suppply.
Cheers
