10w Audio power amplifier

Friends ...can u suggest some low power consuming audio amplifier circuits which can give a output of 10W. I want to connect it to my mobile phone audio jack

If you want highest efficiency then you should look for a Class D audio switching amp. Texas Instruments, among others, makes several models of such devices.

Here's an example of a PCB assembly with a Class D amp. It has 88% efficiency.

Tripath went bankrupt a few years ago because their class-D amplifier ICs did not produce their rated output. This amp might use a copycat IC.

If you look at the magnified image of the board the IC does appear to have a Tripath logo.

I saw the Tripath logo but since they are gone then anybody can use it or maybe a Korean company bought the remains of Tripath.
The IC does not show a clear manufacturing date. Maybe 0552 is the 52nd week of 8 years ago? Tripath went bankrupt 7 years ago and was sold to Cirrus Logic.
