what's the ktc noise in room temperatature for a 4fFcapacitor?
a.0.01mv
b.0.1mv
c.1mv
d.10mv

Re: what's the ktc noise in room temperatature for a 4fFcapa

i think you can caculate it by power of noise=KT/C.

icx:
for this OVT's interview question, they want you to understand what's the basic knowledge of analog design. it is better you find it in the book or project experience than you ask the answer here.

Re: what's the ktc noise in room temperatature for a 4fFcapa

1pf cap yields a 64uv rms, 5fF i just sqrt(200) of that value, which is roughly 1mV

Re: what's the ktc noise in room temperatature for a 4fFcapa

noise power is KT/C, so rms noise voltage is sqrt(KT/C)=(1.38*10^(-23)*300degree/4fF)=0.1mv

Re: what's the ktc noise in room temperatature for a 4fFcapa

can refer to RAZAVI's book, chapter 7 noise.
