how to connect different power net connections in top level?

hi

I am doing top level using encounter..My Macro block has power net connections as VDD VSS and power connections from pad is VDDD VSSS how to connect these two different power nets...

I believe that you need to use the globalNetConnect command

If I am not wrong it could be solve your problem...

globalNetConnect VDD -type tiehi -inst *
globalNetConnect VSS -type tielo -inst *

globalNetConnect VDD -type pgpin -pin VDDD -inst *
globalNetConnect VSS -type pgpin -pin VSSS-inst *
