Hi all,
I am trying to simulate a fading channel for WLAN, but while looking for their caracteristics i found that i was not able to find the maximum doppler value in Hz.
Can any body tell me what values are usually taken for doppler shift in Hz for Wifi systems for exple.
Thanks in advance.
regards.

Re: WLAN model channel

i think wlan is static, so doppler shift is zero...

cmiiw...
i need the right answer too...

Re: WLAN model channel

doppler due to motion is zero, how ever you will have clock frequency offset at the RF
brm

Re: WLAN model channel

in wireless, doppler is modeled by a function like:
1/(π*fd*sqrt(1-(f/fd)^2) )
where f is frequencis between than ±fdmax.
