allegro placement layout

you can copy subdrawings:
1. file>export>sub_drawing
2. select area of interest on board
3. click somewhere. window opens, set file name for .clp file.

import:
1. copy clp file into same folder as importing brd
2. file>import>sub_drawing
3. put down on the board

If it is not an rectangulary "box" You wanna copy, then choose right-click and temp group before selecting anything.
