Hi all,

I am trying to re route a voice & data on 2 diffrent PSTN using an MCU for data logging purposes. the sequence of events could be as follows:

Line 1 ringing
MCU Answer Line 1
Data Transmitted between MCU and Line 1 DTE
MCU dial diffrent number on Line 2
Line 2 DTE answer
Data Transmitted between MCU and DTE 2

up to this point I have no problem but When I need to route Voice signal from Line 1 to 2 I don't know how exactly they should be interfaced? is it a matching transformer with a 1:1 or it is a simple switch

If anybody can help with this interfacing part between both PSTN 1 & 2 that would be really appreciated (please see attached schematic)

Thanks in advance

The transformer should be 600 ohm : 600 ohm

I don't know if they still have it, but Radio Shack used to carry one for a couple of dollars that worked very well.
