Hi,

Presently we have completed the standard cell layout designs.
Now we are going to do Analog Layout, so i need clarifications for the follwing things
1. How to select the Block area for indivisible blocks.

2. How to select the matching concepts
3. How to place the Guard rings.
4. How to make the subsrate connects.
5. How to overcome the crosstalk, ground bounce, Antenna effect, ESD effects etc...

Also give any dummy project and materials

Thanks
Amar

all your questions addressed very nicely in the book The Art of Analog Layout - Alan Hasting. Available in our forum also.

Good luck

1. How to select the Block area for indivisible blocks.

based on ur full chip floorplan and the the circuit request.

2. How to select the matching concepts
3. How to place the Guard rings.

the cretic device need itself guard ring, the less cretic can share one bulk and guarding ring. And the same time, the analog blocks need double or tripple guard ring between logic core, if your analog have the different power with the logic power, at the same time the Gnd is indepent between anlog gnd and logic gnd.

4. How to make the subsrate connects.

the same with above.

5. How to overcome the crosstalk, ground bounce, Antenna effect, ESD effects etc...

shilding track, if it a cretic signal track, antenna need add diode to fix this violations, if you track is long, or do metal bridge, that's means, bottom metal track need top layer metal bridge, metal 1 with metal 2 bridge, metal 2 with metal 3 bridge, and so on. ESD have special request with difference process.
