serpentine trace delay

I doing layout design for DDR memory interface. For matching length bus propose to use serpentine trace.
How influence serpentine trace on characteristic impedance line and inductance, delay? Have you any recommendation for choice parameters serpentine trace depending on working frequency and characteristic impedance line?

Any of the 2.5d or 3d PCB EM synthesis programs will work. A good one is:

There are many others, including the tools included with some of the high-end EDA suites. The serpentine delay line is one of the most studied and documented PCB structures. If you do a web search, you can turn up dozens of papers and discussions.
