import EDIF file into Cadence

cadence edif

Since I used Cohesion for schematic editor,it can export EDIF files.
now who can tell me how to import them into Cadence?

Have you tried "File/Import/EDIF200..." and "File/Import/EDIF300..." from CIW menu?

edif netlist or edif schematic?
just check pulldown menu of ciw, it's there i'm sure.

Noramlly there are two different vision EDIF:EDIF200 and EDIF 300. And Cadence support both.
 

importing and exporting a design cadence

Do you make sure the Cohesion can export the design by EDIF? It seems it only can export the symbol by EDIF format.

yes,cohesion can export symbol,I have tried to export EDF file from Cadence,then importting it into Cadence,it's ok,but I used the EDF files from Cohesion into Cadence,it's failure.
now I researched the difference of the two files.
 

cadence® edif 300

using "dos2unix" command to convert formart,then can import EDIF from cohesion into cadence,
but now I have encounted new question,the cell view was "V1",opened it and its window has nothing.
why and how to solve it?thanks!

Now I get the same the question
it says "Failed to create schematic sheet. Unable to open cell, msheet, of library,"

crazy...
