Hello there, when i run virtuoso i have a problem with import->stream (.gdsII file)
All other import menu working (lef, verilog,...)
the only one not working is import-stream
when i run import->stream i get on the virtuoso konsole:

Loading transUI.cxt
XStream/strminui is running (PID = ipc:2 )...
XStream failed

any suggestions ideas what could happen???

I am looking for your answers... TY...

Are you run the tool from your own desktop/laptop or using computer in your university under the LAN network? If it is the later, I would suggest you to try to run the tool using another different machine and see if it is ok or not.

If you run from your own personal machine, probably you can try to re-install the tool.

Thanks.

i run it from my pc. i am gonna try to reinstall it. by command the import works with strmin -library ... -strmFile ...
