[SOLVED] Swich mode bench top power supply

I came across these two parts LM2536 & LM2576.
Both are able to supply 3A peak current.

I have to make switched mode power supply using 18 V input & 0-12 V output
Which one shall i use.

Also please suggest any other part if any.

Also MC34063A can be used to make buck/boost converter with 1.5A peak current output.

Hi
You can use adjustable ICs such as LM2576 ADJ , but the problem is that out put will be from 1.2 volts up to your desired range , but the re is a solution for this issue available , use two series diodes with the out put after your filter .

Yes i'm agree with Kripton , i didn't see LM2536 until now ! perhaps it is new !!!!!!!!!!!!! are you sure that your part number is correct ?
