HOW MUCH DOES IT COST

8) How much does it cost :

1: Asic design ( 1 micron with 1000 to 5000 transistors)
2: Mask fabrication
3: Production.
 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST

If you look into brokerage services (for universities and small companies) multi-chip wafers, it will cost you few K$.
There are several of them in US and Europe

Yes, it should not cost too much.

But I wonder if there is much thsi kind of vendor for 1 micro.
