Analog TV receiver circuits include separate intermediate frequency circuits for video and audio signals.
VIF > video intermediate frequency and SIF > sound intermediate frequency
So there is a combined integrated circuits designed for SIF and Audio
section in television receivers.
These IC´s have all functions in one package, including sound IF Amplifier, FM Detector,
maybe DC volume control circuit, Audio Output amplifier and voltage regulator.
e.g. all functions for SIF and audio stage are provided in one-chip IC.
