Hi there,

I set the pic18f452 adc such that vref+ = 5V and vref- = 0V and channel for analog input is portA.0 . Then I give a sine wave ( 4V peak to peak amplitude and offset = 2V ) from function generator ( output port impedence = 50 ohms )

Then I transmit the ac output i.e 10 bit binary number serially into my pc ( matlab ) in from of two 8 bit numbers.

then I plot the graph in matlab after receiving 50 samples from adc. The sine wave drawn there is of less peak to peak voltage as compared to that seen on the oscilloscope directly from the function generator.

There is a direct connection between adc and function generator. I have not used any op amp for amplification

Any body there with solution, please help.

thanking in advance
