what should I do first

learn physics of cmos ?
 

For analog Layout designer, The Art of Analog Layout is the best book.

i think microwind is the most adequat tool for layout beginner, it's free on the net, it can provide a 3D representation of the circuit witch helps a lot in understanding layout steps, you can also simulate your layout it's very simple and very good.

If someone is interested in downloading "CMOS IC Layout : Concepts, Methodologies, and Tools", by Dan Clein, here it is...

I agree with most comments on this book - it's relatively basic, but a good start-out.
 

this is good tool for drawing layout . there are also alot of example
